Curriculum

Every skill.Every rung.Written down.

A teacher can only pitch a problem perfectly if it knows exactly where your child is. So we write each curriculum out in extreme detail — every skill, every rung of its difficulty ladder, the mistakes to watch for, and what “ready to move up” looks like.

Explore a ladder

Open a skill.Climb its rungs.

These are real rung descriptions from Pytha's curriculum — the same notes the teacher reads before it writes a problem.

Pick a skill

Fraction arithmetic · Rung 3 of 5

multiply fractions

What it asks

Multiply a fraction by a whole number and a fraction by a fraction ('of' means multiply), simplifying before multiplying where possible.

A typical problem

What is × ?

What is 5 × ?

Mistakes to watch for

  • multiplying the whole number into BOTH top and bottom (5 × = )
  • cross-multiplying instead of straight across ( × as 2 × 5 over 3 × 4)

Ready to move up when

'Of' means multiply — tops with tops, bottoms with bottoms; ready to divide by a fraction.

How progress is earned

Proven,not granted.

1

Six slots

Each stage fills only with solves on her own, first try. Hints are welcome — the slot just waits.

2

Stage test

Five problems, four to pass. Pass, and she moves up a rung.

3

Unit test

Ten problems, eight to pass, to certify a whole unit.

4

Mastery

Solving unaided at the top rung, again and again — on different problems, on different days.

Built to grow

A new subject isdata work.

The learning engine doesn't care whether it's teaching fractions or French. Curricula live in a registry as pure data — so adding a subject or a country means writing it down, not rebuilding the teacher.

Curriculum data

Skills, rungs, examples and misconceptions — per program, per country.

One teacher

One engine for every subject: it writes, checks, reads and reports.

Your child

Taught in their language, at their rung, in their world.

Built from real sources

Each curriculum lists the frameworks, textbooks and standards it was built from, and shows its coverage against the official standard. Parents can read all of it, read-only, in the console.
